«Two of the best wild animal parks in the world»      BBC TV

Imagine wild animal parks that are totally dedicated to their animals. Parks that are committed to the conservation of endangered wildlife. Places where bonding between wild animals and keepers is encouraged to enrich both their lives. Imagine also places that inspire adventure, excitement and fun for their visitors. Parks that provide them with the opportunity to go back to the wild and see wildlife behaving naturally.
These parks are HOWLETTS and PORT LYMPNE WILD ANIMAL PARKS ... parks with a difference, and that difference shows.

You could then stroll along to the elephant paddocks to photograph our African herd their young. Osh was the first bull calf to be born in the U.K.

A world of experience awaits. Whether you are interested in wildlife, historic houses, elegant gardens or magnificent scenery, the Park has something for everyone. Start the day with a stroll around the historic mansion built by Sir Herbert Baker for MP Sir Philip Sassoon back in 1915.

Admire the Spencer Roberts mural room with its colorful depiction of Asian birds and wildlife. Visit the famous Rex Whistler Tent Room. Or simply take in the sights and scents of the beautiful landscaped terraced gardens.

Or why not charge along to the rhino paddocks to see the largest breeding herd of black rhino in the U.K. - including two very special babies born recently at the park. They really are a rare sight.
You have the option of walking around the Park or hitching a ride on our Safari Shuttle Service to encounter monkeys, tigers, elephants, lions, wolves, and many other rare and endangered species.
